At Florida Women’s Center, we accept most major insurance plans. It is important that patients check the list provided, as well as confirm the amount of coverage and plan specifics with their health insurance provider. Filing Insurance Claims

A member of the Florida Women’s Center medical team will gladly file a health insurance claim if the plan is one that our practice currently accepts. It is very likely that any PPO plans that are considered out of network will be filed at a higher out-of-pocket rate. Any additional balances remaining after filing the insurance claim will be due upon completion of services (an invoice from Florida Women’s Center or Florida Hospital Medical Group will be sent directly to the patient once the insurance provider covers their amount).

It is the patient’s responsibility to provide Florida Women’s Center with current insurance plan information prior to services rendered in order for accurate billing of services to be filed. As a health care provider, our relationship is with our patients and as a team; we will continuously follow up on outstanding claims. At times, we may require the patient’s intervention to assist us and we appreciate the patient working with us in this regard.
